Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, has been busted for sending out a fundraising email in which she praised the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault while begging supporters for money.
According to The Boston Herald
, Warren writes in the email that Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her almost 40 years ago, deserves “to be heard” and that Kavanaugh is disqualified to serve on the High Court.
Here’s what the email states, in part:
“Christine Blasey Ford has done a brave thing in coming forward. She deserves to be heard and treated with respect. Now it’s the Senate’s job to make sure that happens.”
“This is outrageous. Brett Kavanaugh was already disqualified to serve on the Supreme Court. But now we’re learning new information about a sexual assault allegation. If we all get in this fight right now, from Boston and across the country — then we’ve got a fighting chance at stopping the Republicans and Kavanaugh in their tracks.”
The email had several links asking supporters to donate money to an online petition, and even featured a large red “Donate Now” button toward the bottom.
