Anti-Semitic flyers posted on doors in Jewish neighborhood – SFChronicle.com

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis police say the posting of anti-Semitic flyers in a Jewish neighborhood is being investigated as a bias crime. The Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council said in a statement the flyers were discovered Friday morning posted on doors at its campus on the city’s north side. Neither the council nor police released details about what was in the flyers. The council says police have agreed to provide additional patrols in the area. It says it has seen growing anti-Semitism in the Indianapolis area. Two Jewish sisters from Israel found swastikas drawn inside their dormitory room after arriving last month at the University of Indianapolis. A 21-year-old central Indiana man was sentenced to three years in prison in May for spray-painting anti-Semitic graffiti and lighting fires outside a suburban Indianapolis synagogue.
