Offensive Halloween costumes at Emmaus High conjure stereotypes, prompt district to act – The Morning Call

Two East Penn students’ costumes were more scary than spooky for their fellow students, who saw one as playing into a racist black stereotype and the other as an anti-Semitic trope. This upset some students, including a Jewish girl who said it made her feel “isolated and unprotected” should something worse happen.
