Israel’s next generation of missile boats have been seen as crucial to defending its offshore strategic natural gas industry from the threat of Muslim terrorist groups, such as the Lebanese-based Hezbollah. The Israeli Sa’ar stealth corvettes are built in Germany but once they arrive in Israel, they are loaded with Israeli electronics & weapons systems for multi-warfare capabilities. The added Israeli weaponry and radar systems puts these stealth corvettes at the forefront of deterrence and deadly strike capabilities in the sea, under the sea and on land as well as targets in the air.
